Some thoughts

Juz came back home after watching Kingdom of Heaven wif YC n Matt. Really a grreat show man! Bascially, the battle scenes were grand and awesome , and other stuff(tt i'm kinda lazee to bring up)were not bad. haha...for those who havent watched it, go catch it!

ooO! i oso cant wait for Star Wars Episode III to come out! i'm quite a fanatic wen it comes to e darn series! haha! *eric! u wanna watch once ur bac or not?*

Anyway,Kingdom of Heaven did bring up some issues tt came up to my head. I mean, the storyline basically revolves around the Fall of Jerusalem. But many times i ask myself, why do Men fight for such causes? As in, which religion promotes death, violence and destruction? Nowdays, soo many terrorists say they "die bcoz it's God's Will". But many of times, this seems to be in conflict with our religion. It's quite ironically and paradoxical.

But one thing tt kinda struck me was that there was a knight(cant rmb his name), who wore a blue outfit, b4 he left Jerusalem(coz he knew it was gonna fall anyway), he told Orlando Bloom, that he originally had a strong believe that he was defending the City becoz it was God's Will, but in the end, he realised that many many times, Men fight juz to protect their own property and wealth. I'm not saying we let other pple steal or take what rightfully belongs to us, but what i'm saying in context, is that Men bcome sooo possessive with what they have, they use the excuse that it's God's Will, that they fight for a certain cause.

I mean, let's juz face it, sometimes in our life, we just use the excuse that "God made it this way" to cover up some sins that we know we committed, but do not admit. Erm...maybe after i said this many will say i'm totally wrong. I hope that readers out there wont misinterpret me for what i'm saying. But anyway, like i said, it's juz a thought i wanted to pen out, so i'm sure that there's much room for debate. Bottomline is this though ; I dun doubt God's Will.

But at the end of the day, the line bout "Taking up arms to protect those who are unable to fight and protect themselves", that's what true heroism is, n i feel that the protaganist has really exhibited this trait.

ok lar, enough of talking bout this. Had wanted to announce smthg to e class, but todae's a 1/2 day, so not possible. hmm...Wednesday mayb huh? ;)

Signing off! God Bless ya all!
